Chinese first cloth shoes cultural village is named Bubusheng Cloth Shoes Cultural Village, it is built in Three Gorges area in 2010, taking about 50 Mu, and having been devoted 55 million RMB.
The traditional craftwork of making manual cloth shoes runs in the family in Xiannv area, local villagers call it “Stitching Cloth Shoes”.
Nowadays, this kind of handicraft has been applying for Chinese nonmaterial cultural heritage. With the unique craftwork and high quality, BBS cloth shoes have been honored with Hubei Famous Product, one of Ten Three Gorges Specialties and Hubei Famous Brand. Another thing to be mentioned is that Bubu Sheng Corporation has honorably been the drafter of Hubei Cloth Shoe Standard. Meanwhile, our cultural village has been a shining pear of “Exi Ecological and Cultural Tourism Circle”, owning to the unique handicraft, it has been famous all over the world.
Here, one to be especially introduced is our Presentation and Experiencing Garden in which you can study craft of making cloth shoes and even try to do it by yourself, such as spinning cotton into a thread, weaving a piece of native cloth, stitching a sole and embroidering a flower, you may even embroider your name on the sole.
Except that, here you can also visit China Cloth Shoes Museum, Wonder Stone Museum of Chinese Generation Culture, etc.
At present, Bubusheng has dabbled in different businesses, including catering, accommodation, touring, shopping and entertainment.
